Carefree Cherating - what a nice break!

Just return from Cherating.. recovering from the fatigue of driving. On the way home drove from Cherating to Kemaman to Awana Kijal and back to KL driving none stop.

Had thoroughly enjoyed the short holiday during the Hari Raya break. Stayed at the Club Med's neighbouring chalets - Tanjung Inn, a fishing haven for my kids and feeding ground for the mozzies.

Not exactly a 5 star chalet but it's air-cond and big enough (plus affordable) for my family. 3 hours drive from KL and another 1/2 hour from Kuantan.

Surrounded by lush greenary and plenty of coconut trees. Watch out for "kelapa runtuh" My youngest son almost got hit by falling coconuts & branch.

What is Cherating without having fun at the beach. Jonathan, Jeremy, Sarah Loh Hui Ern and Samuel making an impression.

Ohh.. we met this new four footed friend from the pond. Didn't meant any harm, it just showed some of it's prowness in the water.
